    [Hugh did not marry Elizabeth Lovell until 1843. In 1830, he had 2 sisters, one age 15 to 19 and one age 5 to 9. It is assumed that these are the two women living with him in 1840, probably now aged 20 and 29. The elder of these probably had a daughter also shown here. Hugh's brother Stanton and mother Nancy were living in Poland, Trumbull, Ohio
    in 1840, and his other sister, Polly and her husband John Hawk were living in Palmyra, Portage, Ohio in 1840. His other unnamed brother is not found in 1830 so probably died young. His father died before 1840 explaining the relocation of the various family members.]
